Today the boys and I took a trip down to the zoo! I know, crazy idea in the middle of summer. We left around 8 AM to get there for opening at 9, and it was already 85 degrees when we showed up. But thank goodness I picked a cloudy day to go and we got a little rain half way through our tour :) The boys had a lot of fun seeing all the animals, and we even got to do the camel ride and go for a spin on the carousel. You're only a kid once I say! And mommy brought her camera, which is the perfect pick-me-up any day!
